Dulwich Village minicab

Dulwich Village feels more like a country town than a part of London. The main street has independent shops, cafés and pubs, and on summer weekends it fills with people heading to Dulwich Park and the Picture Gallery.

Our drivers know the village well. They stop outside your home or the restaurant where you are eating, and they know where they can safely wait. If you are coming back late from a dinner on the village high street, a booked car means you are not left looking for a ride on a quiet road.

The Dulwich Picture Gallery and Dulwich Park

The Dulwich Picture Gallery on Gallery Road is England's oldest purpose-built public art gallery, opened in 1817. It holds wonderful exhibitions through the year. Dulwich Park, across the road, has a lake, cafés and gardens. Both are popular for days out.

We drop off and collect at the gallery entrance and at the park gates. For a family day out, our 6 seater minicab fits everyone.

Dulwich runs north from Crystal Palace through West Dulwich and Dulwich Village to East Dulwich.

East Dulwich and Lordship Lane pickups

East Dulwich, in SE22, is busier and younger. Lordship Lane is lined with restaurants, bars and shops, and North Cross Road has its own weekend market. On Friday and Saturday nights it gets lively.

Pickups on Lordship Lane can be slow because of the traffic and the narrow road. Our drivers will call you on arrival and stop where they safely can. If you are in a group, book in advance, as weekend nights are our busiest time here.

College Road and the toll gate

College Road runs south from the village towards Crystal Palace, past several large schools. It is one of the last private toll roads in London, with a toll gate near the top of the hill. Private hire cars pay to use it.

Our drivers sometimes use College Road and sometimes go round via Gipsy Hill or the South Circular, depending on traffic and the time of day. Your fare is fixed when you book, so the route choice is our worry, not yours.

Schools around Dulwich

Dulwich has some of the best-known schools in South London, and the school run traffic shows it. Our school run minicab takes children from homes around Crystal Palace and Norwood to schools here, with child seats on request and journeys booked for the whole term.

Stations in Dulwich

West Dulwich and Sydenham Hill stations have Southeastern trains towards Victoria. North Dulwich and East Dulwich are on the Southern line towards London Bridge. We pick up and drop off at all of them.

For longer rail trips, our Crystal Palace to Victoria Station car service and London Bridge Station transfer both collect in SE21 and SE22.

Hospital trips from Dulwich

King's College Hospital at Denmark Hill is just north of Dulwich, and it is one of our most frequent hospital runs from here. We also drive to Guy's and St Thomas' in central London. Book your return at the same time, or call us when you are ready to go home.

Holidays and flights

Dulwich sits right by the South Circular, which makes it a good starting point for the Heathrow Airport transfer. For the south, the minicab to Gatwick Airport heads down through Croydon.

Getting around the South Circular
