Our 7/8 seater sits between a 6 seater MPV and a coach. It is still a car to drive and park, so it can pull up outside your house, a hotel entrance or a station set-down point like any other private hire vehicle. Yet it has the seats for a big family, a team or a group of friends.

Plenty of our larger group bookings head into town. Theatre trips to the West End, concerts at the O2, and tours of the big sights are all easier when nobody has to manage a group on the Tube.
For a day of sightseeing, you can book the car by the hour. The driver drops you at each stop and collects you again, so you only walk the bits you want to. Ask for an hourly quote when you call.
Group airport transfers
Airport runs are where an 8 seater really earns its keep. One vehicle, one check-in queue, and nobody left behind in arrivals because the second car got stuck in traffic.

A word about luggage space
Here is the catch with any 8 seater. When every seat is full, the boot is smaller than people expect. Eight people with eight large suitcases will not fit. Tell us exactly how many large cases, small cases and other items you have, and we will tell you honestly whether one vehicle works or whether you need two.
Minibus hire with driver or a 7 seater?
People often ask for minibus hire with driver when a 7/8 seater is all they need. A true minibus with 12 or 16 seats is a different kind of vehicle and is not something we provide. For groups of up to eight, our large MPV is easier to book, quicker to load and fits on normal residential roads.
If your group is bigger than eight, we can send a 7/8 seater plus a 6 seater minicab or a saloon, timed to arrive together.
Group transfer South London
Not every group trip crosses the river. We drive groups between homes in Beckenham, Streatham and West Norwood and venues all over South London, from wedding receptions in Dulwich to sports at the National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace Park.
Event days at the park and match days around Selhurst Park bring heavy traffic and road closures. Our drivers plan around them, and we suggest you book early for those dates.
Wedding and party transport
Weddings need careful timing. The bridesmaids need to be at the church before the bride, the ushers need to get to the reception early, and someone always needs to go back for the forgotten buttonholes.
A 7/8 seater is perfect for moving the wedding party between the house, the ceremony and the reception. We can book several journeys across the day, each with a fixed fare, so the hosts know the total cost in advance. For the couple, add a separate executive car.
For birthdays and nights out, the 8 seater gets the whole group to the restaurant or venue together. Book the return trip at the same time and the driver will be waiting when the evening ends.
Sports teams and clubs
Youth teams, five-a-side squads and running clubs book our larger cars to get to fixtures and races. The National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace Park is a regular destination, as are sports grounds and leisure centres across South London.
Kit bags take up space, so tell us how many bags are coming. For bigger squads, we can send two vehicles timed to arrive together.
Comfort on longer trips
On longer journeys, such as a trip to the airport or a day out of London, comfort matters. Our 7/8 seaters have proper seats in every row, with seat belts for every passenger. Short breaks can be arranged on long trips, so ask when you book.
7 seater minicab hire prices
Every 7/8 seater journey has a fixed fare agreed at booking. It costs more than a saloon or a 6 seater for the same trip, but per person it is often the cheapest way to travel as a group. The price depends on distance, time, waiting time and extra stops.
You can pay by card or cash. One payment covers the whole vehicle, so it is easy to split between the group in advance.
Booking tips for large groups
Large vehicles are limited, so book as early as you can, especially for summer weekends and December parties. Give us a single contact name and mobile number for the group, and make sure everyone knows the pickup time and place. The more organised the group, the smoother the trip.
